Fatigue is a symptom commonly experienced by survivors of cancer across all stages of the disease trajectory, and patients consistently identify it as a significant problem that is often inadequately addressed by healthcare providers. It remains one of the most distressing symptoms, with a greater impact on daily functioning and quality of life than pain or depression. Anemia is a key contributing factor that worsens fatigue and is associated with reduced physical capacity, emotional burden, and poorer outcomes. Although fatigue may improve after treatment, many survivors experience long-term symptoms, highlighting the need for timely recognition and management.[1]
